Well, the day is almost here for the first track day of 2008 for me. I'm looking forward to attending the Performance Riding School by the local 2-Fast.org group at Pacific Raceways this week. (please don't rain!) It's a nice follow up from California Superbike School last month in Las Vegas as this time I'll be on my own bike on my home track.  Vegas was more fun 'cause, well 'cause it was in Vegas and it was a real adventure being away from home, on the same bikes as everyone else with VERY personalized coaching and world class instruction from Keith Code. But I'm sure 2Fast will be good too and being on my own bike at home I'll I've the opportunity for direct application with my gear on my roads.

I've got the Paul Smart prepped and ready to go, and I've got my gear together though it's a little tighter this year than last  

You can see the track prepping means no headlight, tail light, turn signals, no mirrors and I've got a dedicated track fairing installed. Also new this year is tuned suspension, race cams, EFI controller (Power Commander) and the most visible change is the superbike wheels and upgraded brakes.
