Today was my last day on the Messenger team. I'm pretty sad about it, this is probably the best job I ever had at Microsoft. Good things never last forever, but this one was harder because it's such a great team with a great product used by gazillions of people across the globe.  I go back to the same office on Monday but will be running a new team that is still coming together. New challenges are fun too, but I doubt anything will compare to my days on Messenger. C' est la Vie I guess.

I waited and waited for the thermometer to cross 40 degrees so I could get a short ride in today since I'm playing hookey from work. Finally around 11:30 it was warm enough to get the PS out for a short spin. There sure is a lot of traffic on these roads during the day, but not too terrible as long as I was riding and the sun was shining and the roads were dry. There's not much color left, but there are specs here and there. The golfers at Carnation Golf Course weren't terribly thrilled with me riding up and down the road looking for a good photo op spot, but hey - what the heck are you doing on the golf course in November dudes ?
